A police officer has come out boldly to give shocking revelation, saying government officials directed them not to go after bandits and Fulani herdsmen who are terrorising greater parts of the country
The viral video where the unnamed police officer made the revelation was shared by IgbereTV, an online newspaper in Nigeria.
The angry police officer accused the authorities of playing politics with the lives of people while they are sitting in the cool of their offices and eating the money of the masses.
He said: “Enough is enough. They are playing politics with people’s lives. They sent us into this bush without ammunition. We are to comb this place within a twinkle of seconds.
“I know what counterforce can do. How many barges are inside this bush. They are playing politics with people’s lives. Big men are eating money at the top.
“They say we should not go after them. That’s for me. That’s full information for you people. We are not cowards.”
