The Tinubu Must Rule Again (TMRA) group has reaffirmed its commitment to securing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election and ensuring victory for all All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates in the 2027 general elections.

Speaking during a courtesy visit to the Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District, Senator Ede Dafinone, TMRA’s National Chairman, Dr. Marvel Omars, said the group has already established grassroots structures across the 36 states, local government areas, and wards, including the Federal Capital Territory.

According to Dr. Omars, the group’s nationwide mobilisation strategy targets at least 50 votes per polling unit, translating to an estimated nine million votes for the APC in 2027.

“TMRA is designed to galvanise massive grassroots support for President Tinubu and all APC candidates. We are determined to counter opposition criticisms and secure a decisive victory in the coming elections,” Omars stated.

During the visit, Senator Dafinone was honoured with the TMRA Personality Achievements Award in recognition of his contributions to democracy and human capital development. He was also named a Patron of the group.

The meeting agenda included the presentation of the award, Dafinone’s formal induction as Patron, discussions on financial support for the inauguration of TMRA’s national and state executives in Abuja, and plans for the launch of the group’s Delta State chapter, which will be hosted by the senator.

Dr. Omars praised Senator Dafinone as a trusted and reliable representative of his constituents and assured that TMRA would continue to collaborate with him and other APC leaders to consolidate the party’s electoral strength.

In his response, Senator Dafinone expressed gratitude for the honour, describing it as a call to deepen his service to the people of Delta Central.

“This award is not just for me as an individual but for the good people of Delta Central whom I represent in the Senate. It is an encouragement to serve with integrity, transparency, and dedication,” he said.

The senator commended TMRA’s grassroots mobilisation efforts, noting that its ambitious 2027 target reflected commitment to strengthening democracy and the APC’s electoral prospects.

“With unity of purpose and effective mobilisation, TMRA will play a key role in delivering victory for our President, our party, and for democracy in Nigeria,” Dafinone added.
