The only female presidential aspirant in the just concluded presidential primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mrs. Tari Oba Oliver, has described as “undoubtedly well-deserved” the emergence of the former vice president, Atiku Abubakar as the flag bearer of the party for the 2023 presidential election.
.According to Mrs. Oba Oliver, though the processes leading to the party’s presidential primaries were intense, the victory of Atiku Abubakar with 371 votes “is an affirmation of the esteem our party has for you and an affirmation of the definition a leader whose personality demands respect.”
The renowned female politician, in a personal congratulatory letter to the former vice president, congratulated the newly elected party flag bearer, pointing out that the former vice president deserve the victory after stepping up to do this hard work, and for taking the inevitable heat that comes with the strife for the flag bearer of a political party.
The congratulatory letter stated thus: “Congratulations on your undoubtedly well-deserved victory in the just concluded presidential primary election of our great party – the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). Your victory is an affirmation of the esteem our party has for you”.
“You are, by definition, a leader whose personality demands respect. And you deserve credit for stepping up to do this hard work, and for taking the inevitable heat that comes with the strife for the flag bearer of a political party.”
She assured the PDP flag bearer of her support for him and the PDP as they get ready for the contest ahead of the 2023 presidential election.
“As you embark on the next level of political contest in the forthcoming general elections, I wish to assure you of my total support and continued loyalty to your person, your political ideology and to our party, in general.
“I look forward to working with you to concert our efforts in securing your ultimate victory in the general election scheduled for 2023”.
