Arsenal have stepped up their interest in Chelsea winger Pedro Neto as manager Mikel Arteta continues to strengthen his squad ahead of the new season.

According to OneFootball, Arsenal have informed Neto’s representatives that they are interested in signing the Portugal international. Chelsea are reportedly willing to consider offers for the 26-year-old, but the London club is expected to demand a significant transfer fee.
Chelsea’s asking price for Neto is believed to be around £70 million, making any potential deal a major investment for Arsenal.

Arteta is understood to be looking to add another left-wing option to his squad as Arsenal prepare for another demanding campaign in domestic and European competition.
The Gunners had previously explored a move for Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior, but their efforts to lure the Brazilian away from Spain have ended after he opted to sign a new long-term contract with the Spanish giants.
Neto has been regarded as an important attacking player since joining Chelsea, but the club’s willingness to listen to offers could open the door for Arsenal to make a formal approach.

For Arsenal, the potential move would represent a significant addition to their attacking options. Neto’s pace, creativity and ability to operate from wide areas could provide Arteta with another attacking option as he looks to build a squad capable of competing on multiple fronts.

However, the reported £70 million valuation could prove to be the biggest obstacle. Arsenal would have to decide whether Neto is worth such a substantial investment, while Chelsea would need to determine whether selling the Portugal international makes financial and sporting sense. With the new season approaching, Neto’s future could become one of the transfer stories attracting attention across Europe and among African football fans, particularly as Arsenal continue their search for attacking reinforcements.
