Arsenal have admitted they could consider offers for young academy graduates Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri during the summer transfer window.
Arsenal CEO Richard Garlick said the club is not actively trying to sell either player but would be willing to consider a move if the right opportunity arises for both the players and the club.
Lewis-Skelly and Nwaneri, both 19, have already made a significant number of first-team appearances for Arsenal.
Their status as homegrown players also means any potential transfer could provide Arsenal with pure profit and help the club manage its finances.
“I can’t stop other clubs from being interested,” Garlick said in an interview with BBC Sport.
“We are not actively looking at selling those homegrown players, but if the right opportunity came up right for them and the club we’d obviously consider that.”
The comments are likely to attract interest from clubs monitoring the two highly rated Arsenal youngsters ahead of the new season.
