Premier League champions Arsenal have completed the signing of Greece international Christos Tzolis from Belgian champions Club Brugge in a deal reportedly worth £34 million.
The 24-year-old winger has signed a long-term contract at the Emirates Stadium, becoming Arsenal’s third permanent signing of the summer transfer window. Although the club did not disclose the transfer fee, British media reports estimate the deal at £34 million.
Tzolis joins Arsenal following the departure of Leandro Trossard to Turkish side Besiktas, with the Greek international expected to strengthen Mikel Arteta’s attacking options ahead of the new season.
The move comes just days after Arsenal missed out on England midfielder Morgan Rogers, who completed a high-profile transfer to London rivals Chelsea.
Tzolis arrives in north London after an impressive spell with Club Brugge, where he scored 43 goals in 108 appearances and helped the Belgian club win the league title last season. He also faced Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League during the previous campaign.
The winger is no stranger to English football, having previously played for Norwich City after emerging from Greek club PAOK. He later enjoyed loan spells with FC Twente in the Netherlands and Fortuna Düsseldorf in Germany before joining Club Brugge in 2024.
Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta described Tzolis as a versatile attacker with exceptional technical quality, praising his finishing ability, creativity and consistent record of goals and assists over the past three seasons.
The Greece international, who has earned 34 senior caps for his country, is expected to add pace, creativity and attacking depth as Arsenal prepare to defend their Premier League title and compete in Europe.
