Delta Central Senator Ede Dafinone has expressed deep sorrow over the death of the Delta Central Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Famous Oyibo, describing the news as shocking and profoundly saddening.
In a condolence message issued on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, the lawmaker said Oyibo’s passing represents a major loss not only to the APC family in Okpe Local Government Area but also to the entire Delta Central Senatorial District.
According to Dafinone, Hon. Oyibo was a “devoted, loyal, and energetic party leader whose passion for service and unwavering commitment to the growth of our party were evident in both his conduct and contributions.”
He praised the late youth leader for his enthusiasm and steadfast dedication to strengthening the APC, noting that his impact will be long remembered.
The senator extended his condolences to Oyibo’s immediate family, the APC leadership in Okpe LGA, youths across Delta Central, and all party members mourning the loss. He prayed for God’s comfort and strength for the bereaved family and the APC community during this difficult time.
“May his soul rest in peace,” Dafinone added.
