Former governor Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta state has suggested six steps to build immunity against the lethal Coronavirus. Uduaghan, a medical doctor, was governor between 2007 and 2105 in Delta state. He made the suggestion on his Facebook page.
COVID 19
BUILDING IMMUNITY:
Keeping ourselves healthy by building our immunity is important in reducing the effect of Covid 19, and also helps early recovery.
IMMUNITY BUILDING ACTIVITIES:
1. FOODS:
Eat well. In particular eat more fresh fruits and vegetables. These contain important vitamins that help to build up immunity.
2. VITAMIN SUPPLEMENTS, especially Vit C, D and B12 are critically important. They can all be in one tablet e.g. Centrum or are in separate tablets.
3. EXERCISES:
Even if self isolating, daily movement is important. Exercises highly recommended. Minimum is to walk round your the space around our houses. Contact sports not encouraged.
4. SUN:
Daily exposure to the sun helps with Vit. D
5. SLEEP.
Ensure enough sleep.
6. RELAX
Learn to keep a relaxed mind and avoid fear. Covid 19 is not a death sentence.
