The stage is officially set for one of Africa’s biggest entertainment spectacles as Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 11 introduces 24 contestants from different backgrounds, professions, and regions of Nigeria, all competing for fame, fortune, and the coveted championship title.
This year’s lineup reflects the country’s diversity, bringing together entrepreneurs, actors, musicians, broadcasters, lawyers, students, software developers, models, filmmakers, and other young professionals. Organizers say the new season promises a blend of intense competition, emotional moments, strategic gameplay, and unforgettable entertainment that has made BBNaija one of Africa’s most-watched reality television franchises.

Among the contestants are Abi, a model and chef from Osun State; Aikou, a backend software developer based in Abuja; Araga, a fashion model from Ogun State; and Barry, a fashion designer determined to showcase his creativity on a national stage.
The female lineup includes Bells, a student from Akwa Ibom State; Bluethopia, a photographer and model from Adamawa; Flora, an entrepreneur from Delta State; Mercedes, a self-employed entrepreneur known for her passion for fashion and performance; and Neche, a lawyer and entrepreneur hoping to introduce viewers to her personality beyond the courtroom.

Other contestants include Cassi, an entrepreneur from Abia State seeking a fresh start; Chimsom Chuka, a pharmacist and actor from Anambra State; Gerard, an actor and radio host from Kogi State; Goddessa, a musician from Abia State; Kamsy, an event planner from Imo State; and Keivo, a web developer with a passion for art.
Also entering the famous BBNaija house are Martins, a creative director and model; Nomy, a fashion entrepreneur from Anambra State; Oyin, a sales entrepreneur from Ogun State; Ricky, a filmmaker and writer from Rivers State; Sheba, a broadcaster from Plateau State; Sultex, a professional dancer and filmmaker from Lagos; Temi Nkem, a student known for her bold personality; Tram, an author and YouTuber; and Yusuf, an actor from Kogi State.

The contestants range in age from 21 to 33 years, representing various parts of Nigeria and bringing unique experiences that are expected to shape alliances, rivalries, friendships, and dramatic moments inside the house.
Many of the housemates describe the competition as more than just a reality show. For some, it represents an opportunity to expand their businesses, launch entertainment careers, promote personal brands, or inspire millions of viewers across Africa. Others see it as a life-changing platform capable of opening doors to international opportunities.

Since its debut, Big Brother Naija has evolved into one of Africa’s most influential entertainment brands, producing celebrities, business owners, actors, musicians, influencers, and television personalities whose careers have flourished long after leaving the house.
With millions of viewers expected to tune in from Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana, Kenya, the United Kingdom, the United States, and other parts of the world, Season 11 is already generating significant buzz on social media as fans begin predicting early favorites and possible winners.

As the contestants settle into the BBNaija house, viewers can expect weeks of competitive tasks, strategic nominations, emotional evictions, unexpected twists, and dramatic confrontations that have become hallmarks of the reality television phenomenon.
For the next several weeks, all eyes will remain on the house as 24 ambitious Nigerians compete for the grand prize and the opportunity to become the next household name in African entertainment.
