Buhari unveiled the notes at the Council Chambers of the State House shortly before the kickoff of this week’s Federal Executive Council meeting.
Reactions trail the release of the redesigned notes due to change in color especially.
Here are some of the reactions from various netizens.
There's difference between 'renovated' house and 'repainted' house. This 'house' is 'repainted' not 'renovated'. It is safe to say Naira notes were repainted not redesigned.

when we talk about redesign, it means reworking on something, modifying it, and also the addition of more facilities or features to enhance looks, security and safety. I think we got it wrong from the start what was the purpose of redesigning.

What is with this FG and the past? Setting back the economy many years back and now bringing back the old note designs. Is this deliberate or a coincidence?
