Good news for Nigerians – Dangote Refinery is dropping prices once more.
Africa’s biggest refinery has slashed the ex-depot price of Premium Motor Spirit (petrol) from N1,215 to N1,165 per litre – a N50 reduction.
But that’s not all. Diesel (Automotive Gas Oil) also took a dive, falling from N1,650 to N1,570 per litre – an N80 cut.
The new prices, announced on Wednesday, take effect immediately. According to the refinery, the move is part of its “ongoing efforts to improve energy affordability, expand access, and support economic activities across Nigeria.”
In a statement, Dangote Refinery reaffirmed its commitment to “providing affordable, high-quality petroleum products” while strengthening Nigeria’s energy security and reducing reliance on imports.
