(2) The meeting reminded governments at all levels that Delta South Senatorial District is made of 4 indigenous ethnic groups namely Ijaw, Isoko, Itsekiri and Urhobo and urged Leadership at the all levels to ensure that infrastructure development and other dividends of democracy from Government should be evenly and equitably spread amongst the tribes and constituent parts of our Delta South Senatorial District.

(4) On the issue of the Ward Delineation Exercise in Warri Federal Constituency ordered by the Supreme Court of Nigeria, the meeting called on INEC to conclude the exercise without further delay in compliance with the Supreme Court directive.

The meeting also commended Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas and Senator Ede Dafinone for taking the principled stand at the National Assembly that INEC should finalise the Supreme Court ordered Ward Delineation Exercise in Warri Federal Constituency and for any aggrieved persons or groups after the conclusion of the exercise by INEC to approach the courts subsequently with any reservations they may have after the conclusion of the exercise by INEC.

(5) On the issue of the INEC Continuos Voters Registration Exercise, the meeting recalled that a 14 member Committee was set up in August 2025 to mobilise and ensure that all eligible persons in our Wards are duly registered. The Meeting commended the Committee for what has been achieved so far and urged them to redouble their efforts and prepare for the second phase of the exercise commencing in January 2026 so that all eligible voters in the various wards are duly registered to vote.
