The Niger Delta Development Agenda (NDDA), a pan-regional development group, has praised Senator Joel Thomas Onowakpo who represents Delta South in5rx, as an exemplary statesman whose leadership has greatly contributed to the development of the Niger Delta region.
In a birthday message issued by the group’s Convener, Comrade Iteveh Nur’ Ekpokpobe, in Abuja, the NDDA lauded Onowakpo for his transformative leadership, which has sparked positive change across the region.
Iteveh described Onowakpo, who is also the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Local Content, as a distinguished finance expert and politician. His consistent hard work and dedication, Iteveh said, have solidified his reputation for excellence.
“Senator Onowakpo has proven his skill on the Senate floor through the quality of bills he champions and the numerous projects he has attracted to the Delta South Senatorial District and the broader Niger Delta region,” Iteveh added. “His ability to foster interethnic unity and manage the diverse cultures of the Delta South district is truly remarkable.
As part of the birthday celebration, the NDDA urged the senator’s constituents to continue supporting him in his leadership role, ensuring even greater success in advancing the region’s development.
