A suspected rapist named Ayuba Adabo has been arrested after falling asleep immediately after the act in Delta state.
According to a statement released by the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, the man raped a twenty-five-year-old lady along Amagiya road, Sapele.
The 34-year-old rapist, who was heavily drunk, ambushed the victim, dragged her to his room and forcefully have sex with her after threatening to shoot her.
Unfortunately for him, he fell into a deep sleep after the act.
After the victim discovered that the suspect was fast asleep, she sneaked out and ran to Sapele division to report the case.
Upon being informed about the case, a patrol team/detectives were immediately drafted to the scene.
The suspect was promptly arrested.
