APC candidate secures 98% of accredited votes in his compound as PDP draws blank in Ekiti West
Governor Biodun Oyebanji has delivered a resounding victory at his own polling unit in the ongoing Ekiti State governorship election, polling an overwhelming 326 votes out of 333 accredited voters.
Results from Polling Unit 003, located at Oyebanji’s Compound in Ward RA 04, Ekiti West Local Government Area, showed the APC candidate crushing his opponents with a near-perfect score.
The numbers tell the story:
· APC: 326 votes
· ADC: 2 votes
· ADP: 1 vote
· AAC: 1 vote
· PDP: 0 votes
· Void: 3 votes
With 668 registered voters at the unit, turnout stood at approximately 49.9%. Speaking after casting his ballot on Saturday, Oyebanji praised the peaceful conduct of the exercise and described voter turnout as impressive, even as results showed overwhelming support from his immediate community.
