Deborah Samuel, a 200 level Home Economics student of Shehu Shagari College of Education in Sokoto was stoned, killed and set ablaze by fellow Muslim students of the school.
Two of the killers have been arrested. The arrest sparked street demonstrations leading to destruction of properties in Sokoto metropolis. She has, however, been buried in Niger state.
