Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, has confirmed that he is in talks with the presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP) ,Peter Obi, and the presidential candidate of the New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwakwanso, to collaborate with PDP in the forthcoming presidential election.

According to Daily Post, Atiku made this disclosure during an interview session with BBC Hausa, on Tuesday.

The PDP flag bearer, however, maintained that, both Obi and Kwakwanso are no threat to his victory, come February 25.

He said, “Although, I see no threat in any of them (Obi and Kwankwaso) but we are in talks. The discussion might yield a positive result that will see one of them coming.”

Responding to question about the lingering crisis within the party, Atiku said, “Each party has its internal crisis, we are still talking with them. Definitely that will not make us lose the election because we are okay with the election preparations for now.”
