Delta Central Senator, Ede Dafinone, has extended heartfelt birthday wishes to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, as he marks his 57th birthday.
In a congratulatory message issued on Friday, Senator Dafinone hailed Prof. Yilwatda as an “ebullient and visionary” leader whose life and career reflect dedication, resilience, and selfless service to both the APC and the nation at large.

Highlighting Prof. Yilwatda’s distinguished career, Dafinone commended his service in various national capacities, including as Director of ICT at the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi, Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) in Benue State, and Honourable Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development.
According to the Senator, these roles have demonstrated Yilwatda’s blend of “intellectual brilliance and administrative competence,” as well as his unwavering commitment to national development.
Dafinone expressed confidence in the APC chairman’s ability to lead the party with wisdom and strategic foresight, particularly at a time of evolving political dynamics.
