Senator Dafinone Hails Chief Ighoyota Amori at 73, Praises His Legacy of Service

Senator Ede Dafinone, representing Delta Central Senatorial District, has extended warm birthday wishes to political elder statesman, Senator (Chief) Dr. Ighoyota Amori, as he marks his 73rd birthday.

In a statement issued on Thursday, Senator Dafinone described Chief Amori as a towering figure in Nigeria’s political landscape and a respected custodian of Urhobo culture.

He commended Amori’s longstanding commitment to public service, political mentorship, and cultural preservation, noting that his legacy continues to inspire both the old and new generations.

“Chief Amori remains a towering figure in our national political landscape and a respected custodian of Urhobo tradition,” Dafinone said. “His unwavering commitment to public service, political mentorship, and cultural leadership has earned him a revered place among Nigeria’s most dependable elder statesmen.”

The senator praised Amori’s consistent efforts toward the unity and progress of the Urhobo nation and the development of Delta State, adding that his contributions are “commendable and deeply appreciated.”

As the celebrant clocks 73, Senator Dafinone joined family, friends, and political associates in celebrating a life of impact, resilience, and national service.
