There is tension in Ile-Ife and Modakeke in Osun state as at least five persons were found brutally murdered while going to their farm.
Sources told DAILY POST that the bodies were found in Modakeke in the early morning of Friday at Toro road.
The Osun state police spokesperson, SP Yemisi Opalola, confirmed the incident, adding that a team of police operatives has been drafted to the towns.
It was also learnt that the Obafemi Awolowo University had shut its main gate as at the time of filing this report.
