Marriage they say is not a bed of roses as a man who built a school for his wife in Ughelli, Delta state, has got angry and changed the name of the school to his name.
An eye witness said the man, Mr. Gregory Atota, got angry saying after building the popular school for his wife, she introduced him to the teachers and pupils as the Managing Director instead of attributing to him the proprietor of the school.
Our source said that Mr. Atota who threatened to demote his wife for not calling him the proprietor of the school, went ahead to replace her with the administrator of the school while the wife now receives a monthly salary of N40,000 from the school administrator.
This medium gathered that the development broke Mrs. Atota’s heart as she was demoted from a proprietress to a class teacher and a salary earner.
Our source also said that Mr. Atota also got angry to the level of changing the school’s name to his own name which got everyone in that vicinity surprised.
Our correspondent learnt that the man’s wife has been heart broken as she recalled that she taught in some well known schools in Asaba for many years before she was led to start a day care in her apartment.
According to our source, Mrs. Atota began to experience an influx of children in her day care and such development ignited her rich husband to build a gigantic storey building in their compound where his wife expanded her day care to nursery and primary school.
This online medium gathered that Mrs. Atota went around and was complaining to her husband’s friends concerning her ordeal.
It was learnt that Mr. Atota told his wife that he is the owner of the school as he was the one that built the structure.
According to our source, Mr. Atota wanted his wife to introduce him as the proprietor of the school and not the MD.
An eye witness told our reporter that Mr. Atota is always bitter whenever there was social events in the school, his wife introduces him as the MD of the school.
