The South-South Zonal Coordinator of Contact and Mobilization of the City Boy Movement (CBM), Dr. Michael Nwoko, has called on residents of the region to register as members of the movement through its official online platform.
In a statement issued on Friday, Nwoko urged supporters, particularly youths, women, professionals and other progressive-minded Nigerians across the six South-South states, to take advantage of the online registration exercise to become officially recognised members of the organisation.
According to him, the membership drive is aimed at strengthening the movement’s grassroots structure in Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo and Rivers states, while expanding citizen participation in its activities.
Nwoko encouraged intending members to visit the movement’s official website, cbmnigeria.org, click on the “Join CBM” or “Register” option on the homepage, complete the online registration form with the required information and submit it for processing.
He described the exercise as simple, seamless and accessible to all eligible Nigerians, stressing that a strong membership base would further enhance the movement’s reach and effectiveness across the South-South.
The Contact and Mobilization Coordinator called on existing members and supporters to mobilise their families, friends and associates to register, noting that collective participation would strengthen the movement’s presence at the grassroots.
The City Boy Movement has continued to expand its membership across the country as it pursues its objective of promoting citizen engagement, grassroots mobilisation and national development.
