Amidst heavy downpour on Saturday, people of Ndokwa, Ika, Aniocha and Oshimili popularly referred to as Anioma stormed SDP rally in Kwale, Ndokwa west local government area of Delta state.
The Social Democratic Party which is gaining ground in Delta following the emergence of Olorogun Barrister Kenneth Gbagi as its governorship candidate is becoming the beautiful bride in the unfolding events in Delta.
This is why Delta people are looking up to the party to form the next government at the expiration of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s administration in 2023.
With this understanding, Emerald News reports that Delta North people trooped to Kwale where they received the party’s governorship candidate, Olorogun Barrister Kenneth Gbagi amidst the heavy downpour.
The environment was literally all watered, this period being the heat of the raining season, the people, however, defied the rain to receive and hear the good promise from the people’s governor.
Gbagi, at the event, told the people that the SDP is taking over the state, hence all their pains and sufferings over the years would be a thing of the past.
He assured of better days ahead for Ndokwa people and all Deltans just as he said within months of ascending office as governor, youths would be removed from streets of Delta state.
He also assured of good health and educational institutions for better living for all residents of the state.
Gbagi, who said he always stands by his words, noted that his government would be an all inclusive government.
