Olorogun Barrister Kenneth Gbagi, governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Delta state, has said that his administration would pay every unemployed youth in Delta state N30,000 monthly.
Olorogun Gbagi spoke on Saturday during a special session with pastors and Bishops drawn from the three senatorial districts of the state, most of which are from Delta central and North.
Gbagi told the gathering of clergy men that the statistics of unemployed youths would taken across the 25 local government areas and would be computerised to avoid fraud in the system.
Gbagi has been very passionate over the welfare of youths in Delta. He has consistently said his administration if given the mandate would uplift youths and give them sense of belonging in the state.
He had earlier said he would give free education up to the university level to all students who are indigenes of the state and attend state higher institutions.
He assured the pastors that his administration would open opportunities for all Deltans and create jobs for all youths.
