The Christian Association of Nigeria, political strategy and mobilization committee, Delta state chapter, on 17 October released a circular letter, inviting all political parties governorship candidates in Delta state for a meeting.
The meeting which was said would be an interactive session was to hold on Friday, 21 October and Saturday, 22 October at the state CAN secretariat, Asaba.
According to the letter signed by Oke Akokotu, the state secretary for CAN political strategy and mobilization committee, all governorship candidates were requested to send messages to indicate their prefered date for participation from the two dates, in order to avoid clashes and conflicts with the political time-table or campaign schedules of political parties.
“The state CAN is looking forward to having robust and friendly interactive sessions with all Governorship candidates “, the secretary said.
