National Broadcast: Jubilant Mayor Akpodoro hails President Tinubu, says insurrection defeated

The Mayor of Urhoboland who is also a critical stakeholder in the Niger Delta region, South-South Nigeria, Eshanakpe Israel a.k.a Akpodoro, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he considered a soul-winning national broadcast depicting resolute desire to exit the nation from the woods of backwardness and retrogression rejecting attempt at drawing the nation back into the abyss by agents of ‘darkness who wish to impose their will on our nation.”

According to the Mayor in a statement issued in Abuja, Sunday, patriotic Nigerians with positive vibes and ears of solidarity have heard the President in his broadcast loud and clear and happy that collective understanding of well-meaning Nigerians have once again defeated the insurrection of the wicked against the Nigerian state.

The modern ruler of Urhobo nation noted that the most exciting thing in the Presidential broadcast was the obstinate stand of the President against the surreptitious call for the removal of the destructive oil subsidy which he noted had been a clog in the wheel of the nation’s progress over the years adding that the agenda of the promoters of the recent crisis was basically to stampede the administration into suspending subsidy removal.

Another major milestone in the broadcast, Mayor Akpodoro noted, was the enumaration of social-economic stimulus for the citizens to palliate the hardship includes but not limited to the suspension of tariff on some staple food items including rice and wheat and also pharmaceuticals. He noted that the President in his speech has made those who voted for him in February 2023 proud and indeed all well-meaning Nigerians are proud of President Tinubu as a dogged and visionary leader.

The Mayor also commended the understanding and patriotism demonstrated by youths of the Niger Delta region who said heeded the call not to participate in the ill motivated protest which he said culminated into evil agenda of the enemies of the nation.

“Our GOC in the person of High Chief Government Ekpemukpolo a.k.a Tomopolo ordered a restraint and dissociated the youths and persons of the Niger Delta region from the then planned protest owing to unforseen circumstances, I lent credence to that call, advising our regional population particularly Urhobo nation not to participate and that call was heeded in the best interest of our nation and ofcourse, we as Urhobo people have a culture and tradition of peaceful disposion to issues. I commend them for showing such level of loyalty.

” We saw miscreants, footsodiers of looters and the generation of born to rule waving Rushia flags in what their sponsors called peaceful protest. In that reign of terror, we saw agents of the rent seekers, subsidy racketeers, oil thieves, national yam eaters… wave Rushian flags for the reasons best to them but all these have been defeated.” The Mayor stated.

He called on the Nigerian Youths to stand solidly behind President Tinubu noting that he’s a visionary leader with the patriotic zeal to renew the hope of Nigerians in his drive to building a verile nation with sustainable development. “The President is hell-bent on building a new Nigeria with a sustainable economic growth and not a phoney economy where the dollar pegged rather than float to commensurate with the global economic realities and this why money changers, currency speculators, economic saboteurs and many other menacing thieves are against the administration. Our prayers from the Niger Delta region is for the President to succeed and we shall all succeed.” The Gberegolor Ughelli South Local Government Area-born Mayor prayed.
