URGENT JOB VACANCY
LIVESTOCK NUTRITIONIST
Crown Feeds and Livestock Nigeria Limited, in partnership with Crown Hatchery Enterprises, is seeking the services of a qualified and experienced Livestock Nutritionist to join its agricultural operations in Issele-Uku, Aniocha North Local Government Area, Delta State.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the nutritional needs of the company’s livestock and poultry, ensuring optimal growth, health, productivity and efficient feed utilisation.
Key Responsibilities
The Livestock Nutritionist will:
Formulate and recommend balanced diets and feed rations for livestock and poultry.
Monitor the nutritional requirements of birds and other livestock at different stages of growth.
Assess feed quality and ensure proper utilisation of feed ingredients.
Develop cost-effective feeding programmes that maximise productivity.
Monitor animal growth, health and performance in relation to nutrition.
Work closely with farm management and animal-health personnel to address nutrition-related challenges.
Maintain proper records of feed consumption, animal performance and nutritional programmes.
Advise on the selection, storage and utilisation of feed ingredients.
Conduct regular assessment of livestock and recommend improvements where necessary.
Support the company’s hatchery and livestock production operations with professional nutritional guidance.
Requirements
Applicants should:
Possess a Bachelor’s degree/HND in Animal Nutrition, Animal Science, Livestock Production or a closely related field.
Have practical knowledge of livestock and poultry nutrition.
Have relevant experience in commercial livestock or poultry production.
Demonstrate knowledge of feed formulation, feed ingredients and animal nutritional requirements.
Be able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary agricultural team.
Have good record-keeping, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Candidates with practical experience in poultry nutrition and commercial feed production will have an added advantage.

Farm II: Opposite Issele-Uku Junction, Asaba/Benin Expressway, Delta State.
