The Warri Chapter of the Ambrose Alli University Alumni Association has officially endorsed Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, for a second term ahead of the 2027 gubernatorial election.
The endorsement was announced following the association’s monthly meeting, where members unanimously expressed confidence in the governor’s leadership and performance since assuming office.
According to the association, Governor Oborevwori’s administration has recorded notable progress in infrastructural development, human capital advancement, and the creation of a more business-friendly environment across Delta State.
Members described his achievements as surpassing those of previous administrations.
The governor, who is also an alumnus of the institution, was commended for his contributions to the state’s development and his continued engagement with the alumni community.
The motion endorsing his second-term bid was moved by the association’s Publicity Secretary, Emoghware Ese Steve, and seconded by Henry Hope Bubor.
It was subsequently put to a vote by the chapter chairman, John Omoifo Bello, during a session attended by over 300 members.
The motion received unanimous approval, with members further resolving to adopt Governor Oborevwori as their sole candidate for the 2027 governorship election.
The association reaffirmed its full support for the governor and expressed optimism about the continuation of his administration’s development agenda in Delta State.
