The Executive Chairman of Aniocha North local government area of Delta State, Mr. Chuks Oseme, has felicitated with Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and all Deltans on the 29th anniversary of the creation of the state.

Oseme, in a statement, noted that in spite of the obvious challenges occasioned by the economic recession that met the first months of Governor Okowa’s first term in office, the pragmatic leader was able to deliver on the Smart agenda to an appreciable extent.

The Aniocha North council boss, who particularly listed various road projects completed in his local government such as the Issele-Uku-Onicha-Ugbo road, Issele-Uku-Issele Mkpitime-Onicha-Olona road, Onicha-Uku- Ukwunzu and the Idumuye-Ugboko-Idumuye-Uno roads and most recently, the ongoing Obonkpa-Ugboba road among others too numerous to mention, said that such projects are replicated across the three senatorial districts of the state.

While paying glowing tributes to past governors both military and civilian for being part of building the foundation for the present day Delta State, Mr. Oseme expressed optimism that the state is on the verge of occupying her prime position among the comity of States in Nigeria under the Strong Delta Vision of the Okowa’s administration.

Said the Aniocha North council boss: “on behalf of the good people of Aniocha North Local Government Area, I heartily felicitate with our dynamic Governor and leader, His Excellency, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, and indeed all Deltans, on the 29th anniversary of the creation of our State.

“It is my firm conviction that not only has the state moved forward in terms of peace and accelerated development, but has also been able to build on the legacies of our founding fathers to fastrack the Delta of our dreams.
