An Anambra state young girl, Miss Ijeoma Iweka, who married a Yahoo plus guy in Isolo, Lagos ran away in the middle of the night after their wedding ceremony.
An eye witness told Emerald News that it all started when the young girl brought a very rich young man, Mr. Toochukwu Ohama, to her parents for first marriage introduction.
Emerald News gathered that the father of the girl, Chief Augustine Iweka, perceived that his potential son -in – law’s money was ill-gotten and advised his daughter to wait and pray before the marriage.
Our source said that Ijeoma and her mother turned a deaf ear and tried to convince her father to accept him as a son-in-law.
Our source said that Chief Iweka after much pressure from her daughter and wife, yielded to their desire.
Our correspondent also gathered that the traditional marriage took place successfully within two months at their home town in Anambra state.
Our source, however, said that their church wedding took place shortly in one Catholic Church in Lagos state.
The bridegroom after their wedding reception quickly took his new wife to another of his apartment.
It was further gathered that around 1:30am when Ijeoma suddenly woke up and saw her husband doing some incantations with her red and white designers pant she washed and hung in the bathroom before she went to sleep.
According to our source, Ijeoma started crying and shouting on top of her voice and her husband began to beg her while kneeling down.
Emerald News gathered that she pretended to calm down until when her husband went back to sleep, Ijeoma around 4: 20am sneaked out of the house through the fence and ran to her father’s house wearing only her night gown.
