The Ogun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal has upheld the election of Governor Dapo Abiodun of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
The Hamidu Kunaza-led three-man tribunal struck out the petition filed by Ladi Adebutu of the Peooles Democratic Party (PDP) for being incompetent.
In the judgement read for over 12 hours, the tribunal upheld Mr Abiodun’s election, while dismissing Mr Adebutu’s petition.
In a unanimous judgement, the tribunal said “the petition lacks merit and it is hereby dismissed.
