Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), while addressing one of Osibanjo’s support groups in Kano has finally cleared the air that the squabble between him and the Vice president has been resolved.
As reported by POLITICS NIGERIA, the rift between Osibanjo and Tinubu started when they both contested against each other during their party’s presidential primaries.
Osibanjo contesting against Tinubu came as a shock to many who had already conceived the idea that Osibanjo is Tinubu’s loyalist, hence, the Vice President’s move was widely considered an act of “betrayal.”
However, addressing one of Osibanjo’s support groups in Kano, Tinubu said:
“I have nothing against him. I’ve been to his house after the primaries. I saw him on the day of the goodwill message at the retreat organised by the president.”
“If you cannot give forgiveness, how are you asking from Allah? To me, it is over.”
