The Mayor of Urhoboland and national coordinator of the National Coalition of Niger Delta Ex-Agitators, NCNDE-A, Eshanakpe Israel a.k.a Akpodoro has congratulated the newly appointed Aide De Camp, ADC to the President-elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Lt. Col. Yusuf Nurudeen Alowonle.
Alowonle hails from Ilemona in Oyun Local Government Area of Kwara State, North Central Nigeria.
in a congratulatory message to Alowole, Akpodoro described him as a top notch career soldier who he said is a work in progress for God as he called on the newly appointed officer to imbibe professionalism and the wisdom to carry out his duties diligently as required.
The ex-militant leader arvised the young officer to be wary of the ides of Aso Rock presidential villa describing as full of murky waters and sharks infested as he prayed that providence guides him in carrying out his duties.
Alowonle was recently appointed the ADC to the President-Elect towards his inauguration on May 29, 2023 having won the February 25, 2023 Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC organised presidential election beating other contestants including the former vice president Atiku Abubakar who came distant second in the keenly contested race.
With his appointment, Alowonle is in charge of the protocol and security of the president as the incumbent a retired General and politician retires same day to his Daura country home in the North West State of Katsina after adjudged meritorious service to the nation since May 29, 2015.
Akpodoro expressed hope that the young officer is capable of excellent delivery of service to his father land in truth and faith.
Alowonle, the Mayor noted, is not a rooky in security matters having worked previously in the state House during the reign of President Goodluck Jonathan.
He expressed gratitude to the military hierarchy who deemed it good to rest the responsibilities of the safety of the incoming president in the hands of a military top notch.
