2027 Shockwave: NNPP Drops Mystery Presidential Candidate, Reclaims Logo from INEC Portal

The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has fired a major salvo ahead of the 2027 elections uploading a placeholder presidential candidate on INEC’s portal and officially restoring its iconic “Basket of Fruits on Nigerian Map” logo after a bitter leadership war.

National Chairman Dr. Major Agbo announced the twin victories on Tuesday, declaring that INEC had finally replaced what he called a “fake” logo with the party’s original emblem a symbolic win in the party’s protracted factional battle.

“This reaffirms the legal and institutional integrity of the NNPP. All the failed hijackers have been defeated,” Agbo boasted.

Agbo refused to name the candidate, calling it a “deliberate act” to keep political rivals guessing. He also revealed that 355 National Assembly candidates including placeholders—have already been uploaded across all 36 states and the FCT.

The party is now racing to complete governorship and state assembly candidate uploads before INEC’s August 8 deadline.

“These are not mere administrative exercises they represent our readiness to provide purposeful leadership for Nigeria,” Agbo said, urging youths, women, professionals, and diaspora Nigerians to join the party’s membership drive.

With the logo restored and a hidden presidential card up its sleeve, the NNPP is signaling it means business in 2027.
